Every dog on our team has their own personality and story. Want to join our team by sponsoring a dog? Pick your favorite and become part of their journey. Sponsorships help with the everyday costs of keeping a sled dog team happy, healthy, and on the trail, from food and veterinary care to training and gear. Most importantly, your support means these dogs get to keep doing what they love: running. Take a look through the dogs, find one that catches your eye, and consider sponsoring them for the season. Lead Dog | Male | 9 years

Confident and curious, Copper has been my main leader since he was 3 years old. He has led every race we’ve run and is always ready for an adventure, especially when it means exploring new places down the trail. When he’s not mushing, Copper can usually be found guarding his collection of favorite bones, piled beneath him like a dragon protecting its treasure.

Lead Dog | Male | 6 years

The newest member of the team, Azog may be new to our kennel, but he is no stranger to racing. He has competed in several mid-distance races, including the Jr. Iditarod, often leading alongside his mom. Driven, fast, and eager to work, Azog is an exceptional sled dog who brings plenty of energy to the team. Off the trail, he loves playing with the other dogs and gets along with just about everyone. We’re excited to see what this talented dog can do this season!

Lead Dog | Male | 8 years

Strong and reliable, Fox is a fantastic lead dog. When he’s not mushing, you can usually find him doing what he loves most: knocking his dog house over or lounging on the couch. Fox has raced at the highest level, finishing on the 2nd-place 2022 Copper Basin 300 team.

Lead Dog | Male | 6 years

A natural leader, Governor has been a rock star since joining the team as a yearling. Sensitive and gentle, he combines a smooth gait with an impressive amount of power and is always ready to put it to work on the trail. When he’s not mushing, Gov’s favorite place is inside, preferably asleep on the dining room table.

Team Dog | Female | 7 years

Sweet and playful, Sookie is a forever puppy with a big personality. She loves being close to her people and is easy to handle, but around other dogs, she’s always ready to make sure everyone knows she’s the best. Flirtatious and dainty, Sookie brings plenty of personality to the team.

Team Dog | Male | 3 years

 Rocket is an intelligent, trainable, and fearless adventure buddy. Adopted at four months old, he quickly became a fabulous sled dog. He impressed us with his enthusiasm and drive during his first race, and we’re excited to see where this young dog takes us next.

Wheel Dog | Male | 9 years 

Royal is a strong, enthusiastic sled dog who absolutely loves his job. He excels in the wheel position and transforms the moment the harness comes out. Shy with strangers but deeply bonded to his people, Royal is happiest when he’s by their side, whether he’s mushing or gently giving hugs with those bright blue eyes.

Wheel Dog | Female | 6 years

Small but mighty, Hailey makes long runs look easy. She came to us as a yearling alongside Governor and quickly proved herself, running two 150-mile races her first season. Like her dad, Royal, she can be a little shy, but she is a sweet, gentle dog. When it’s time to get moving, though, Hailey is often one of the first dogs ready to go, especially if Dad is by her side.

Team Dog | Female | 2 years

Dove may be the smallest of the Bird litter, but she has the heart and mindset of a future leader. Smart, observant, and steady, she is already showing promise in lead as she gains experience. Off the line, Dove is sweet and gentle with people and gets along well with the other dogs. We can’t wait to see this little dog find her stride in this season.

Wheel/Team | Male | 2 years

Goose is the powerhouse of the Bird litter. All enthusiasm on the line, he brings a fun-loving energy to the team and is always ready to work. In the dog yard, Goose is more laid-back, earning his title as resident wrestler and class clown. With his big personality, thick coat, and love of food, this playful guy is definitely one to watch.

Wheel/Team | Male | 2 years

Merlin is one of the big boys of the Bird litter, matching Goose in size and enthusiasm. A strong, eager team dog, he throws his whole heart into every run. Off the trail, Merlin is a shameless ladies’ man who loves all the girls, even when they don’t always return the affection. Luckily, his friendly, outgoing personality wins him plenty of fans among the humans. With his strength, enthusiasm, and big-hearted charm, Merlin is a fun addition to the team.

Team Dog | Male | 2 years 

Pigeon is a friendly, goofy charmer who is always happy to meet new people. But once the harness goes on, he’s all business. Smooth and efficient on the trail, Pigeon was the first of his litter to step into lead and has already shown plenty of promise up front. With his confidence and hardworking attitude, this lovable guy is shaping up to be a standout young leader.

Team/Wheel | Male | 2 years 

 Corvus is the quiet intensity of the Bird litter. He may be shy with new people, but once he’s on the line, he’s all business. Focused, driven, and naturally responsive, Corvus has an instinct and awareness that set him apart. With every run, he continues to show the makings of a future main lead dog.

Team Dog | Female | 2 years

 Egret is a high-energy firecracker who is always ready to launch down the trail. Leggy and fast, she thrives in the team and has already shown promise in lead. Off the line, Egret is playful, curious, and always looking for her next adventure.
